Effective November 7, 2026. This notice describes the current setup of Scent Brief at https://scentbrief.com. For privacy questions, use our contact form.
Browsing and hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Requests to a website involve technical data such as an IP address, browser information, requested address and time. Hosting and security systems may record this information to deliver and protect the service.
Saved fragrances and comparisons
Saved fragrances and comparison selections are stored in your browser’s local storage so they can remain available when you return. They are not a public account or a mailing-list subscription. You can remove selections using the site controls or clear this site’s data in your browser.
Contact messages
The contact form collects your name, email address, selected topic and message and sends them to the site’s administrator by email. The form does not store message bodies as WordPress entries. Correspondence may remain in the recipient’s mailbox and backups for handling the request and keeping a record. A short-lived identifier derived from your IP address is used to limit repeated submissions. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.
Affiliate links and other websites
Links beginning /go/ redirect through Awin to HottPerfume. Awin and the retailer may use their own tracking and cookies when you follow those links; their policies apply on their services. We do not collect your payment details or process your order. See our affiliate disclosure and the Awin privacy policy.
Fonts, libraries and sharing
Some fonts, icons and interface libraries load from Google Fonts, Cloudflare’s cdnjs and jsDelivr. Your browser connects to those services to retrieve the files, which involves technical request data. Social sharing links open the service you choose; that service’s policies then apply. This launch does not configure a third-party audience analytics service or an advertising pixel.
Administration and your choices
WordPress uses cookies for administrator login and session functionality. Public registration and article comments are disabled. You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser. Contact us to ask about personal information you have submitted or to request a correction or deletion; information that must be retained for a legitimate operational or legal reason may not be immediately removable.
Changes
We will update this notice when the site’s services or data practices change.
